This pitcher is based on the Carolina Wren. It is a unique hand painted piece that was thrown on the wheel then altered. It is surprisingly easy to pour and the spout is thin for a crisp smooth and clean finish. A similar Wren Pitcher and be seen in Lark Books 500 Pitchers published a couple years ago.
This pitcher is dishwasher and microwave safe. It measures 9 inches tall, 8 inches wide, and 7 inches deep. It has a comfortable 4 finger handle.

In the spring of 2002 a couple families of Carolina Wrens took up residence in my studio. They were always calling down to me from the rafters in between feeding their babies. Shortly after they left the studio I started drawing wrens on my pots.
This long tray is food safe but to large to fit in the dishwasher and microwave.
